Little Athletics commenced operation in the Nambucca District in 1972 and has seen many changes as families come and go. The objectives of the NDLA’s Centre are as follows:
- To provide athletic competition for children who are registered with the centre.
- To promote the ideal of children competing for personal satisfaction through improved performance.
- To organise and conduct Centre championships.
- To promote and assist the formation of new athletics clubs in the area.
- To use all available means to place Little Athletics before the public.

CODE OF BEHAVIOUR
Parents and Athletes
- Encourage all athletes to participate in all events
- Athletics is for enjoyment and to encourage a healthy lifestyle.
- Assist athletes to set realistic goals related to their ability and never ridicule athletes if they do not achieve these goals.
- Try to learn the rules for each event and participate according to the rules.
- Cheer and encourage other athletes when they are participating in events.
- Recognise the value of our volunteer coaches, officials and helpers.
- Behave in a manner that fosters a family atmosphere.
- Vulgar and abusive language or behaviour will not be tolerated.
- LA’s is a SMOKE and ALCOHOL FREE ZONE.
